Emotional Eating or Under Eating?

Perhaps our bodies know a thing or two, and if we aren’t eating enough of the right foods, our body will send out hunger and starvation cues.

No doubt, when we experience life’s stressors comfort eating is a real thing.

However, we believe that a lot of our challenges with food would shift if we consistently gave our bodies what they needed.

If we nourished them and respected them more.

If we looked to improve this relationship and move away from the diet and restriction mentality, only to enter into the cycle or rebounding and creating more harm.

Trust the wisdom of the body.

Take a small step forward, rather than an all or nothing leap.

Review food intake, and introduce more time for preparation, with healthy food swaps, fuel the body for exercise and be surprised at how those cravings and urges to overeat go away.
